Wellstone Action and Wellstone Action Fund is a national training center for people interested in progressive change.  We help activists win on issues and elect progressive candidates by training them in the nuts and bolts of grassroots organizing, voter engagement, political advocacy, and leadership development.

This intensive three-day training is designed for individuals with past electoral experience who want to take their political organizing skills to the next level and candidates who are currently running for office.

Voter Engagement Schools help non-profit community-based organizations educate, engage, and mobilize voters across the country. These national trainings are held in partnership with organizations who want to connect long-term voter engagement work with the issues their constituents care about.

Continuing Paul and Sheila Wellstone's commitment to Indian Country, Wellstone Action has created a new Native American Leadership Program (NALP), designed to strengthen Native American leadership and civic engagement.

Wellstone Action Fund

Wellstone Organizing Fellows

This new program provides leadership training and support for a select group of young leaders of color in Minnesota. Fellows participate in an intensive one-month training and then put their new skills to work in local community-based organizations. We also provide ongoing mentoring and peer support throughout the program.
